Calling All Local Artists and Heritage Organisations

South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership are excited to announce a new partnership and project with Arts&Heritage (A&H). 

In 2024 A&H began working with South and East Lincolnshire Council’s Partnership as strategic advisors, supporting us with the development of plans as part of our Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation funded activity. 

As the first phase of the partnership, we are launching an innovative project to matchmake local artists and practitioners with heritage partners. 

Our free artist and heritage Matchmaking Workshops will take place between 28 Feb - 2 March. Each event will forge connections between artists of any discipline from across the South and East Lincolnshire region with heritage partners. 

In this instance, heritage can be anything from collections, spaces, places (indoors and out) and with specialists in local living history. We want to uncover new stories from across the region and tell them from new perspectives and partnering with artists is a great way to do this.

The workshops will take place in our cultural hubs across the region and we will make a contribution to travel costs of £50 per attendee, with lunch provided. This will be a day of discovery, learning and making new friends, leading to some longer creative relationships and exiting collaborative projects. 

There is also a potential of follow up funding for any ideas hatched during these projects and producer support will also be able to flag additional resources to realise your next steps.

🏣 North Sea Observatory - Sunday 2nd March 10am-3.30pm

🕍 Boston Guildhall - Monday 3rd March 10am-3.30pm
