Be a part of an innovative project to matchmake local artists and practitioners with heritage partners.
Our free artist and heritage Matchmaking Workshops are taking place in March.Each event will forge connections between artists of any discipline from across the South and East Lincolnshire region with heritage partners.

Willow Pattern Ceramic Workshops (CLOSED)
Artist Nicki Jarvis is making large ceramic cubes that will float in The Canal at ‘Ayscoughfee Enlightment’. Inspired by Georgian pottery designs.
Drop-in and help Nicki create blue & white imagery that will decorate the cubes.
Nicki will show you how to make a small drawing in blue underglaze that she will transfer onto the cubes. Participants will get the chance to make a blue & white clay keepsake.
Workshops suitable for everyone, age 8 upwards.
Sessions run 11.30am – 3.30pm. Thursday 20th – Sunday 23rd February

Aysoughfee Light Night Artist Call Outs (CLOSED)
Ayscoughfee Hall are recreating an 18th Century Georgian Pleasure Garden in the grounds of the Hall on the evening of Saturday 22 March 2025.
As part of the event, we are looking to commission two separate local artists to collaborate and engage local community groups and individuals in the creation of two bespoke artworks that celebrate the heritage of the hall, the local community and create a dialogue with the theme of an '18th Century Georgian Pleasure Garden'.

MBD ARTIST RESIDENCY (CLOSED)
Artists from all creative fields are encouraged to apply, regardless of experience in virtual reality. This includes writers, poets, sound designers, illustrators, and more. The residency will take place from 27 to 30 November 2024, and we welcome a maximum of 6 artists. Each selected artist will receive £1,000, making this a valuable paid opportunity for local talent.

MBD YOUNG PERSON WORKSHOP (CLOSED)
We’re looking for 6-10 young people passionate about design, technology, or storytelling to collaborate with us to shape the young person's floor for the virtual experience. Together, we’ll create a short VR level inspired by the history and heritage of Ayscoughfee Hall, which will be showcased to the public in 2025. No prior experience is needed - just creativity and enthusiasm!
