MBD in collaboration with Story Tellers through the Infinite Museum project is inviting audiences to step inside history with the launch of ‘Storytellers Collection: The Spalding Gentlemen’s Society’.

This March, Ayscoughfee Hall and Gardens will be transformed after dark as Shifting Perspectives brings a magical, light experience to Spalding.

We are seeking to build a database of Associate Producers, from Greater Lincolnshire, who we can call on to support us with a variety of tasks. These could be anything from being an assistant producer at one of our large-scale events, through to supporting community groups with bid writing, to assisting our venues on an ad-hoc bases by supporting workshops or helping to steward at events. We are especially looking for people with experience of community-led work and those with experience of bid writing/fundraising and event production.  

Summer 2025

We’re inviting artists from across Greater Lincolnshire to take part in the summer phase (July–September 2025) of Illustrating Boston—a year-long creative project exploring the town’s influence on visual storytelling, journalism, and publishing.

We are looking to support a programme of creative story telling which inspires local creative practitioners to partner with local heritage sites, organisations or places and people with heritage stories, traditions and research. We will only accept expressions of interests if they are a combined project with partners from both arts and heritage backgrounds.

Dear reader, Ayscoughfee Hall & Gardens cordially invites you to join us for Ayscoughfee Enlightenment: An 18th-Century Pleasure Garden Revival.

PromenART is an open-air gallery project funded by East Lindsey District Council’s Storytellers NPO. The aim of the project is to link local artists with Sandilands beach hut owners to create works of art that will be displayed on the huts to create a vibrant outdoor gallery, making art accessible to many. 

Our free artist and heritage Matchmaking Workshops will take place between 28 Feb - 2 March. Each event will forge connections between artists of any discipline from across the South and East Lincolnshire region with heritage partners. 

Future of the Past, a youth-focused heritage initiative is underway across Lincolnshire. Led by music charity SoundLincs, the project offers a creative approach to local history.

Come and be dazzled at Boston’s very own festival of light on February 14th and 15th 2025.

We are working together with Tom Flemming Associates to develop Cultural Frameworks for our areas with an overall Executive Summary linking the areas together. Our Culture Board will be key ambassadors for our frameworks.  

The event, which involved a Fire Garden, Lantern Parades and much more, saw crowds of around fifteen hundred people from across the country- drawn in like moths to the light.
