Story Tellers secures Arts Council England funding extension until March 2028

Story Tellers has secured another year of National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) funding from Arts Council England, meaning we'll be bringing even more arts, culture and heritage to Boston, South Holland and East Lindsey until March 2028.

Since becoming a National Portfolio Organisation in 2023, we've worked with artists, communities and partners across Boston, East Lindsey and South Holland to celebrate the stories, places and people that make this part of Lincolnshire so special. From unforgettable events and creative workshops to heritage projects and artist opportunities, together we've helped many people experience culture in new ways.

This extra year of funding means the story continues, giving us the opportunity to build on the projects people have come to know and love while introducing exciting new experiences along the way.

Over the coming year, we'll continue to develop the Infinite Museum with MBD and Session Arts, welcome back Lightwaves and Boston Illuminate, and deliver a spectacular new event at Ayscoughfee Hall in early 2027 alongside SquidSoup and Chainbridge Forge. We'll also launch another round of Arts in Heritage, supporting creative projects and partnerships in communities across the area.

Rob Pitman, Chair of the Story Tellers NPO Board, said:

This funding is a huge vote of confidence in what we've achieved together over the past three years, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.
