Vintage on Sea summer celebration returns to Sutton-on-Sea
Over the weekend, Sutton-on-Sea welcomed residents and visitors for another fantastic day of community celebration.
Vintage on Sea, now in its third year, brought together live entertainment, creative activities and local stallholders, all in celebration of the town’s seaside character.
Made possible through the dedication of community groups, volunteers and organisers, Vintage on Sea has become a much-loved date in the local calendar, reflecting the people and spirit of Sutton on Sea.
The Young Journalist Academy’s Evan, Teagan and Erin attended the event to capture the day’s stories. Join them as they go behind the scenes into one of the Coast’s biggest summer celebrations:

About The Young Journalist Academy
The Young Journalist Academy (YJA) gives young people the opportunity to develop real-world reporting and broadcasting skills. Working with local schools and community groups to create student-led content.
The young people spoke with performers, volunteers, local organisers and councillors to capture the stories behind the traditional celebrations.
The involvement of the YJA reflects Story Tellers' commitment to supporting creative opportunities for young people, giving them the chance to develop new skills while celebrating the people and places that make Lincolnshire what it is.
But when it comes to a hard day's work at the seaside, there's only one thing on the young people’s mind when break time rolls around...
At Story Tellers, we’re really proud to support the development of the festival. Seeing the town filled with people connecting, and celebrating showcases the positive impact that community-led events, such as this, can have.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who performed, volunteered, exhibited and attended, helping make this year's Vintage on Sea another wonderful celebration of Sutton-on-Sea and its community.
