About
Learn digital skills and create your own 3D objects to add to the Infinite Museum VR Experience.
Storytellers NPO and MBD invite young people aged 11-16 from East Lindsey to take part in a one-day creative residency to explore the creative opportunities involved in virtual reality (VR) storytelling.
As part of the creation of a new VR experience, Infinite Museum, which brings East Lindsey heritage to life, young people will explore local heritage and storytelling, develop skills in 3D scanning and model making, and share their stories of the things they love. By the end of the day, you will have a fully 3D digital object and story to add to a virtual reality library based on the cabinet of curiosities, for audiences to enjoy.
Designed in line with professional artist residencies, no prior skills are required in order to take part in the residency, as it aims to nurture creativity and engagement in order to create an accessible and enjoyable experience.
The young person residency will be a first-come, first-served opportunity, and all participants will be required to bring an object that is of personal interest/significance to them.
This residency is suitable for young people in the 11-16 age group.
