Electric Egg – ‘There Be Monsters’, an animated film projected on High Street. Be on your guard because in the depths of the ocean and on the fringes of the map There Be Monsters, and they do not take too kindly to those who trespass their waters and plunder the hidden corners of our globe. This a new animated projection animation work from Electric Egg Inspired by the Lincolnshire Explorers and Adventures of the 17th, 18th & 19th centuries this piece takes a sideways look at what may have happened had they encountered the monsters that decorated their maps and charts.
MBD’s Infinite Museum – an immersive VR experience.
At its core, the Infinite Museum is a multi-user VR experience designed for groups of 1–4 people. Unlike traditional VR installations, which can feel isolating, this one invites participants to explore together - to interact, share moments, and spark conversations as they go.
You and your group step into a virtual lift that becomes your gateway to a series of themed floors - each one unlocking a different story from Lincolnshire’s past. These stories come to life through art, animation, poetry, and sound, offering a deeply sensory journey through place, memory, and imagination.
Each floor of the Infinite Museum offers a completely different experience. Two were created by MBD’s team of immersive storytelling experts; the other two were co-designed with local artists and young people through a series of workshops and creative residencies - ensuring that the stories told reflect a wide range of perspectives and lived experiences.

LightWeight – a stunning 4-metre-high globe featuring animated projections.
LightWeight always grabs an audience’s attention not least because of its size and intrinsic beauty. Hidden projections cause beautiful translucent imagery to appear. At the same time we capture the faces of the audience, embed them in live animations, and then watch them spin and flutter magically around the globe. https://www.impossible.org.uk/installation/lightweight/
Henge – an interactive light installation inspired by ancient stone circles, created by Gemma Wood & Andy Johnson-Smith.
Inspired by ancient henges across the globe, this interactive installation reignites our tribal instincts and ancestral memories. For centuries, cultures have gathered around these mysterious monuments to share stories, knowledge, and experiences, creating profound connections. While the true purpose of henges remains unknown, their enduring presence radiates energy and unity. In this captivating artwork, visitors are invited to activate sensors that breathe rhythm and life into the henge, transforming it into a pulsating, communal experience. Through sound and interaction, the piece channels the shared spirit of ancient gatherings, reconnecting us to one another and to the timeless power of human connection.
