Arts in Heritage

We are looking to support a programme of creative story telling which inspires local creative practitioners to partner with local heritage sites, organisations or places and people with heritage stories, traditions and research. We will only accept expressions of interests if they are a combined project with partners from both arts and heritage backgrounds.

All heritage sites/organisations/stories must be located in one of the three South East Lincolnshire Council Areas (Boston Borough, the district of East Lindsey, or the district of South Holland) and the work must benefit one of these areas. All creative practitioners must be based in the Greater Lincolnshire area.

Our wonderful colleagues at Arts&Heritage have a wealth of support materials available to help inspire creative heritage programming, which you can read about on our Resources and Practitioners page.

This Call Out can cover up to the value of £1,000 to support research and development. This can include:

• Artist’s fees and time

• Heritage organisation’s costs and time

• Travel and subsistence costs

• Any materials you may need

• Any access costs

• Go Sees

• Training

• Fees for support – such as a funding bid writer/other professional service

All projects which have been successful in this phase will then be able to submit an EOI to apply to access up to £4,000 to deliver a pilot project, alternatively our Producers will be available to support you to develop a larger bid from other funders.

There is no time limit to apply, and application forms will be reviewed monthly, however they will be assessed on a first come first served basis and the call out window will close once the budget is allocated.
