Is your community interested in researching and archiving its story? The University of Lincoln has developed their Archive in a Digibox programme which utilises technology to archive community images, documents and oral histories.

Young people from the area will be bringing to life the stories of our events and activities, using their unique perspective, voice and creativity. Creative News Desks will be at each of our creative hub sites.

Zest Theatre are delivering their Refresh programme across our sub-region to deliver youth voice to the arts in their area. Large scale artworks will be created, based on the words young people speak, which will be displayed at Creative Hub Sites and at future events.

A unique display of illuminations, projections and performances, featuring a fire garden, Sir Joseph Banks inspired projections, a lantern parade, street theatre and more.

Together with Levelling Up funding bids for Alford we supported the community to bring to life the fascinating stories that sit behind the development and on-going success of the Alford Craft Market as they celebrate their 50th year in 2024, and 10th year of their shop in 2025.  

Summer 2024

Summer 2024 saw a cohort of 16 young people participate in a week long workshop to learn new artforms and create pieces inspired by Ayscoughfee Hall and Gardens.

A host of activity to encourage creative participation with young people and families in the school holidays. Including a storytelling celebration, gaming workshops and Lindy hop classes as well as a Celebration of Youth event.  

Summer 2024

Summer 2024 saw a host of creative activity take place in Sutton on Sea which included sand drawing and a two week sand sculpture trail.

An amazing package of support from the National Arts Fundraising School for 2024. This included residential and online workshops on their highly renowned arts fundraising workshops as well as localised sessions for each council.

An intergenerational creative community programme, co-produced by Sinfonia Viva, Orchestras Live, Lincolnshire Music Hub and South Holland District Council. Culminating in a fantastic performance at South Holland Centre in May 2024.

In 2024 we commissioned Cock-a-doodle-doo, a specialist marketing agency based in Lincoln to deliver four marketing workshops, aimed at bringing together heritage sites and practitioners to hone their skills to help us raise the profile of arts and heritage in our area.
