Seaview Colonnade
A community hub for Sutton on Sea
The Seaview Colonnade is a newly constructed cultural and community landmark in the heart of Sutton on Sea. The venue plays a starring role as one of the hub sites for our Story Tellers NPO project.
Designed as a state-of-the-art pavilion, the Colonnade aims to create a year-round space for arts, events, workshops and community gatherings that can strengthen local pride and bring people together.
Its panoramic sea views and flexible interior make it an ideal location for exhibitions, performances, creative sessions and cultural programming that reflect the diversity of the East coast.
Investment in culture & community
As part of the wider regeneration programme supported by the Mablethorpe Towns Fund and East Lindsey District Council, the Seaview Colonnade underscores a shared ambition to boost tourism, local wellbeing and economic opportunity. By hosting activities, events and workshops, the venue contributes directly to inclusive cultural engagement across generations of Sutton on Sea.
It was developed through a multi-million-pound investment — including £4.2 million from the Mablethorpe Towns Fund alongside further funding from East Lindsey District Council — as part of a broader coastal regeneration initiative.
A versatile space
Open daily to residents and visitors, the Colonnade is designed to be a beachfront venue and an active cultural meeting point, welcoming people of all ages with year-long programming and opportunities to engage socially and creatively.
Multi-use community areas for events, exhibitions, workshops and functions.
Café and social space, with panoramic sea views — including a pop-up by Seven Districts Coffee and other seasonal vendors.
Accessible facilities, such as Changing Places toilets and step-free access.
